RFE on H1 Transfer in Premium process

Hi,

My new employer applied H1 transfer in premium processing and got a RFE on June 16, 2004. By July 27, 2004, INS has received the response for RFE from my employer. Till now I have not received anything. In the website I see “On July 27, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 10 and 15 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case”

Is this delay normal in premium processing? How long it will take to get a decision in this case?

Hey, did you get any resolution on your question on RFE

Hey Uma,

I am in a similar position as you - RFE on new H1B petition under premium processing and the INS hasn't replied for 8 days now (after taking 10 days on the first petition).

Just wanted to know from you how long did it finally take for them after your RFE reply? and what was the outcome?

I have a similar case as well. H1B in premium processing and they have asked for moer evidence in this case. I haven't recvd the letter yet, so don't know what information are they looking for....could you pl' tell me what kind of information do they usually want in cases like these?

Can i know on which web site I can see my online status. I too have the same situation, got RFE. I applied for premium processing. Now waiting for the last 1 week since employer filed RFE request.

How many days it take to get response from INS after RFE has been submitted?

Hi Jhonny,
I just checked my application status and it has been approved. It took a week to get approval after RFE has been submitted.

WoW Congratulations netb2b, can you tell me what was the RFE and when did you respond to to RFE.
 
Thanx Jhonny, they just demanded degree evaluation (equivalent to US degree) and my employer submitted those 8 days ago after they recieved RFE.

One thing I want to confirm. How much is the joining time after H1 approval and what happen if someone is unable to join. Is there a time limit?

RFE in Premium Processing

Recv`d an RFE on H1B Premium Processing from Texas Service Center on 10/25. Attorney will respond back to RFE 10/26. How long would it take for USCIS to respond back? Any recent data appreciated.
 
The position is Accountant for a private company ($9MM revenue). Have my MBA in Acc/Finance. I dont have CPA. RFE says, in exact words:

"Describe any state or local licensure requirements for this position snd submit evidence that beneficiary has obtained such licensure, if such a requirement exists."

Attorney replied this morning saying there is no such requirement since this is not a public accounting position. Waiting for the response now.
 
if you submit with in 72 hrs through fax after you received RFE, you may hear decision with in a week, or else ...wait n wait...
