RFE on EAD renewal...more than 90 days

Today I received email about RFE issued on my wife's EAD renewal application. The RD on her application is 06/01/04 and already 90 days had passed. We had scheduled an appointment for tomorrow for an iEAD at Boston. Its today that the status changed to "RFE".
Guys...will there be any luck going for the iEAD now ??? Her current EAD will be expiring in a month and she just got a job for the first time. Its kind of mess.
Anybody out there in similar situation.....my advice would be..."go for the iEAD the moment you reach 90 day period".

---it may be for color copy of her state ID or driving licence or color copy of her first page of Passport that has her name, dob,and photograph or NEW Passport style photographs or copy of marriage certificate( I suspect it is for new passport style Photographs)

##: Actually i did apply the renewals 5 1/2 months before the expiration date.
anyway..i learned my lessons the hard way.

Received RFE on my EAD renewal yesterday !!!

Absurd but true. This is the last thing I had hoped for.
I got RFE on my EAD renewal application. Don't know yet what it is all about.
My current EAD expires in 2 months...so little worried.

Is iEAD a possibility ?

What ginnu stated above does not apply just to the OP -- it applies to all.

So yeah -- most of the time, they won't let you get an iEAD if a RFE has been issued.

I have a related question here. I know they only accept passport style photos effective September 1st. What happens if I had send ADIT photos when I applied for EAD in July (RD 07/26/04) ?

Does anyone know if they are issuing RFE's for photos in all cases that were filed with old style photos, well before cutoff date, but that are still pending ?

The RFE message on my wife's EAD turned to "approved" message today... .
We never recvd the RFE...and after more than a week, the message automatically changed. (no lawyer involved...i e-Filed the application myself). Is this normal...?? has anybody else have the same experience. ?
