RFE on 485 but no LUD

My lawyer says I got an RFE on my 485 (October 19th) but my online case status is still unchanged (March 11). Is this normal? Why would they send an RFE but not update the LUD?

Also, how soon after an RFE is it typical for them to adjudicate (assuming it's a really simple question such as an updated letter of employment and proving that you had OPT after graduating from school) [or is that a really stupid question bc there's no way to tell?]

The online system, in which your LUD would be indicated, is severly backed up.

I have approved EAD and AP (from September) that have not been updated on-line since June.

Simply do not rely on on-line update for the near future.

Besides, LUDs are haphazard at the best of times.

all prior actions had been reflected as LUDs (on the other applications). But this makes sense. Thanks.

Now I wonder how long it'll take them to decide...

Thanks CoolMaro! That was relatively quick.

I received an email today, SUNDAY November 11 that processing on my 485 had resumed because they received the information on November 9. Here's hoping.
