Rfe (not approval) R'd after long journey, frustrated!!!!

I just got 2 emails from uscis, asking for additional evidence for both primary and derivative.

Don't know what it is yet. Kind worried because I just changed job which is in same field, but different job title and duty.

I have been living in the US for almost 10 yrs, too much sacrifice for the green card, and still not over yet!!!

Any idea about the Rfe? Thanks in advance!

It could be something simple like resubmitting certain documents (marriage certs, etc.), medicals, W2s, tax returns. I wouldn't worry too much - at least your case has come up for review.

Maybe something simple as an EVL for you and Marriage certs for the spouse...

Since you've been in the US for long, it could also be to ask for proof that your stay was always "legal"

RFE generated 10th Jun., 2004
RFE recd by CIS 6th July, 04 (LUD 7 7 04) (Pay stubs, 3yr Tax returns mine and my company's, company's ability to Pay, Medical supplement...all over again.

Approval ???????????

I am totally exhausted now with this visa ordeal..wish it ends soon.

You mean 11 yrs just for the GC process from labor onwards ?
Or is it 11 yrs total - even before you started on the GC journey ?

No not for GC process..
I mean student visa, to H1 to GC process... transferring from one visa status to another. Isn't that a pain in the neck....

Its so frustrating to see people who applied after u getting aprroved and me who had (touch wood) never been illegal not getting aprroved....

Sheer luck....anyways! have no choice but to wait
 
You are atleast one step closer. Look at it +vely. Its better than having your file in a closed cabinet.

For EVL - Try not to mention about the new job title , duties. Have your HR give you a letter with the old (LC) duties. You can explain to your HR guy that its for your GC. Talk to your attorney.
