Hi Gurus

My lawyer did a great job that he FORGOT to attach our medical reports along with our I-485 application two years ago.

Now the Rfe is to submit the medicals. When we spoke to the lawyer, he says that we have to get the NEW medicals. He is saying, just take the old reports to the doctor and he will give the new report by seeing the old one.

We don't know what to do. I'm sure that immigration won't acccept the old ones(two year old).

Does anyone has this kind of situation? Also anyone knows good doctor in north carolina?(charlotte/raleigh area)?

Because of lawyer's mistake we have to spend the money again.

Please help with valuable suggestions.

Thanks.

RFE-medicals

As per the current rules , acording to my attorney , your old medicals are still valid. If you ask the medical office , they will provide you with the medicals you did 2 yrs ago , in a sealed envelope for INS. But you will have to pay a around 50 bucks(more or less depending on the office) for each person -no need to do all the tests and vaccines though. You DO have to fill out the application form -6something I dont remember the numberthat you can even download from the internet before the medical office will give you the sealed envelope. And congratulations. Your application will approved if your medicals are ok or they wd not have just asked for this.

Hi Fams

Thanks for your reply. We did the medicals in Memphis, TN( two yrs ago). Now we are in North Carolina. What I understand from your reply that take the old medicals to the doctor here and expain to him? Do you think the new doctor will give the report without taking $300.00? or just go to the old doctor in Memphis and take the new report, by showing the old ones?

As the old saying said, "you pop babies too fast, you are screwed". Your approval will be postpone indefinitely giving that you reply the RFE. otherwise you will be denied of greencard.
