RFE:logistics: User experience needed

Iam totally frustrated with USCIS at this time. Not because they dont have logic or sequence or I am waiting for my 485 approval since October 2002 but for they irresponsiveness (Liek thats something new :p )
RD 10/2002
1st RFE May 2004 /RFE recieved May 2004
RFE Lost Dec 2004 (USCIS sent a fax to my attorney)
RFE resent Dec 2004 (No update on my case)
Online status updated JAn 2005 (Asking for same RFE again )

So Iam still waiting to see the update which says they recieved the RFE . The fedex seemd to have reached them. So basically I have sent the same RFE 3 times now . First time they got it but lost it after 7 months. Second time they sent a fax but never updated the online status nor updated whether they recieved or not. And now the third time(hope its a charm) we have sent it again.


So question is does the officer who has my case recieves this RFE or is there some common mail center where they update the status ..anyone know who recieves these papers? I might need to loose hope if it is going to the officer who has my case since he has already missplaced/lost or didnt care the last 2 times
 
actually, you are in much better position than you sound. Of course, the mishandling of your RFE is frustrating, but the good side is that some officer looks at your case. My RFE was received by CSC in May 2004 and message "RFE received and processing resumed..." appeared in 5 days after it was sent. The message is still there almost 10 months later and nothing changed.
And don't complain that the officer looking at your case is stupid. They all are. Smart people can find much better job than immigration officer.
 
I suggest you do inquiry every 2 weeks from your attorney . Thats when I found out that they had lost it . And then resent it and now resent it again :-)
 
every my LUD after 05/06 (this is when FRE was received) corresponds to some inquire (2 senators, 2 congressmen, CIS ombudsman, my lawyer).
 
I have a hunch that our cases are with the same person :D ...although I wouldnt be surprised if there such clones !
 
i looked at cases applied on the second annyversary of my application and found that WAC0503350101 was approved on February 10, 2005. So, it took total 86 days, even counting Thanksgiving and Christmas. Why our cases couldn't get to this officer? :(
 
Hang in there dude....there is nothing much we can do . Some people are very lucky & some people are not . I think we are in the same boat now as today they updated my case saying they recieved my RFE .

Back to where I was a year back when I first submitted my RFE .So the same guys who got 3 RFE response for the same RFE from me will sit on it until his ass gets warm enough to send another RFE :-)
