Hi Friends,

An RFE was issued for my case on Nov 1 for Employment letter .

My Title has changed from Software Engineer to Lead Information Systems Engineer since I got promoted.

My lawyer mentioned in the letter that now I\'m leading a group of Software Engineers. Will INS be okay with the that.

good to hear that and I hope that is true.

But what makes you so sure about it. Please share any info you may have. thank you
 
As long as the applicant is in "similar occupation", nothing to worry......

..."Software Engineer" & "Lead Information Systems Engineer "
both fall under similar occupational category. Hence nothing to
worry. At the most, the applicant may get RFE for employment
proof. nothing more than that...

Here goes the text:

Submit an original , recently dated letter from your present employer
stating your job description and describing the specific duties of your current position.

Submit copies of your last 3 paystubs.

did the employment letter sent with your 485 application state the new title you now have. or, did you get this promotion after submitting your 485, i.e. your LC and 485 have the same job title. which one is right?

Did you also change your company?

I am trying to understand what triggered this rfe
