RFE Issued - EB3/Other/RD: Jan 2001/ND:02/06/2001

I just learned from my lawyer tha an RFE has been Issued with regards to my I-485 petition. They are asking for the info regarding my present employer and the date I started my employment with them. The biographic information that I submitted does have all the information regarding my employment history. I also sent the employer\'s letter along with the application. Why the RFE now?

In some cases they do verify at the end of the process that you are still valid for 485 approval

They make sure that you didn\'t violate AC21 or anything for the requirement of approval. Respond to RFE, your case is under the consideration for approval. I had seen people getting approval within month from their response.
