First of all thanks a lot to everybody in this forum for all the valuable advice.

These are my details.

EAC02297xxxxx at VSC
Receipt Date 30th September 2002
First FP Nov 29 2002
I140 approved in Nov 2003.
EAD 2 expires in Dec 2004.

I changed my address and notified the INS 3 times. I did not get the FP2 notice. may be it came at my previous address and got lost there or may be I didnt get it yet.
I saw the online status today and saw a RFE. I haven't got the RFE details yet. I will post as soon as I get it(I guess it goes to my lawyer)

My question is that Did anybody a RFE before FP2? Also the online status of my wife's 485 has not changed.
I guess I have to keep the following documents ready(mine is a AC21 case)

- Employment letter from the new employer
- payslips from the last 4 months
- W2 from the last 3 years
- Labor approval notice
- 140 approval notice
- 485 receipt

I want to know if
- anyone has got a RFE before FP2
- What happened if your FP notice is lost in mail?

Any help would be appreciated.....

I think you need not worry. Have you called USCIS and changed your address? If so, did you get any confirmation from them thro mail?

Lot of people, including me, got RFE before FP1 expired. Even after six months after FP1 expiry, I did not get any FP2 notice.

Just wait and reply RFE asap.

Not getting FP2 yet is not at all unusual. Lots of Oct'02s have not got FP2 yet. Getting an RFE before or after FP2 is common. So I don't understand the panic/confusion.
