RFE issuance???

Hi,
I am currently in a tight situation as I own a home in Houston, Texas and am in the 485 stage with ND of Oct 2002. Recently I lost my job and I now have a job lined in Dallas.
The problem is that the job in Dallas offers me 68K and my labor certification says that my minimum wage should be 75K. I heard from somewhere that as long as you are within the 10% range, you are ok.
But my question is, if an RFE gets issued where they ask for the pay scale,
will they ask for the paystub and if so, would they look at the paystub and say 'gee whiz' this guy is getting lesser than stipulated, lets reject him or lets send him for an interview? What are the chances that my Green Card gets rejected on this basis.
Please can someone let me know what I should do, my accepting this job, will that put my Green Card in jeopardy?
What do you think I should do? Is anyone facing a similar situation or knows someone who got an RFE where they were asked about salary verification?
What is employment verification RFE, I can see on the forum that a number of people are getting employment verification RFE's. Does this RFE also cause the INS to verify the pay scale?
Please help me out friends, I am in big need.

First, I need to let you know that I really don't have any experience with the EVL RFE. So please take what I said just as a reference.
I think the main purpose for EVL is to verify that you are still employeed in the same field/similiar job. In your case, I think not having a job is more dangerous than accepting a job with less than 10% difference in the salary.
