RFE help needed

Have a question for all the gurus on this site. I received an RFE on my I-485 on Nov, 29th, 2004. My attorney received the RFE and has responded to it.
I do not have a copy of the RFE or the reply. Now assuming that the lawyer has sent it to the INS, how can I track the RFE? DO I just track the LUDs online? Or can i call and talk to someone regarding the RFE and its progress?
Lastly, approx how long does it take for INS to respond to the reply to RFE?
Any help is very much apprciated.

First thing first, I always encourage ppl to keep all copies of all pettitions/applicaions/docs/ anything ur Attorney produce/ INS Sent to you/attorney . Attorney reply/response. KEEP ALL COPIES OF EVERY SINGLE DOC IN YOUR FILE if possible.

Ask ur attorney to provide u or visit their office and ask secretary to provide the copies of 485 pettitons+ all docs.


Yes u can track using online status, many ppl shared status updated stating
"We received ur response of RFE...."

Do not hesitate to talk ur attorney regarding any concern u have. :D

I agree with PJ try to get a copy of RFE and autorney reply.
keep checking your status, many ppl have found LUD/Msg change when USCIS receives rfe reply.

another question

Once the online status is updated how do I track the RFE? Is it just the eternal wait or do they have some timeframe within which they will respond?
 
RD, ND on 140 and 485 = Nov 18, 2003
AD for 140 = Nov 29, 2004
RFE for 485 = Nov 29, 2004
Lawyer mailed response Dec 6, 2004
No LUD change online since 11/29/2004
