I just recieved email from USCIS...asking for more info...i did faxed inquiry couple of times no reply from them...i think thats what triggered RFE...waiting for RFE...who will receive Lawyer or me?? any ideas...bottom line is fax inquiry does help...my advice to everybody is to do fax inquiry...

i will keep updating my status..

they touched my case 4 times...god knows what they are doing...
 
vjshanker ...when did you send the fax inquiry?

Can you give me the the date that you sent the fax inquiry? Just trying to estimate how much time it takes for USCIS to respond.

I think fax inquiry works only if your RD is before the JIT.
 
How to send fax inquiry

I would appreciate if you could tell me how to send a fax inquiry:

1) What is the fax #
2) what should the letter say.

RFE always goes to attorney.
I don't think fax enquiry triggered RFE. If you watch this forum, from mid-April lots of people are getting approved without RFE and some are getting RFE - especially Jan 02 and Feb 02 cases. Your RFE was on its way anyway.
