RFE for I693 and I693 Supplimental

Hi,

I got a letter for I693 and supplimental,I have two questions please answer if you did your medical

1. For I693 what tests are done by the doctor? In my letter its mentioned about Skin test for TBand i think they do HIV. Do they also do any other tests ??

2. I69 for vaccination etc....., i dont have any record for that though i had to get those for my school here as part of gradution... am not sure if i can get the results for that. Anyone who has no record what needs to be done for that person.

1. Dont worry as to what tests. Usually they do a skin test but if you had tested positive, ask them to do an XRAY so that they can clear it out.

2. Every state has a department of health. if you did get vaccinated for college etc, they should have it in their records. Whoever gave you the shot should have records, you need a photo ID and they print you results which you can take to the doctor and he verifies and signs off..
 
I remember getting a TB test from the doctor. They drew some blood from me and I had to get 2 vaccinations that I was missing.

Do you remember when you got those vaccinations for graduation if they issued you some sort of a personal record?

I would contact the school and ask them first if they have the record. At the very least, they would be able to direct you on how to obtain those.

Thanks for your responses. Can you tell me approxiamte fee for medical and also will i get the completed I693 from doctor on same day if everything goes fine?
 
contact your school to get immunization records if they don't have it your doctor will take a blood sample and run some tests to see what immunization you had taken and what is missing then he will give you the missing ones.
he will also run HIV and syphilis tests plus the skin test(PPD) for T.B
if had a positive skin test before you should inform your doctor so he don't do it again, he would do a chest x-ray instead.
 
also if you have a medical inssurance you can have the tests and immunization done at your PCP and then take the results to the immigration doctor in that case he would charge you less.some doctors charge 150 others charge 300$ so call more than one doctor and compare price

You can definitely ask your school to give you your records back. That's what I did and that was good enough for the doctor. If you need booster shots or if you are missing certain vaccines, they will give you those shots. If your shots were recent and you can get the records from your school, the cost will be less for you.

Like eagle80 said, the price range is huge. I got mine done for $100. If you are in the DC metro area, I will tell you where to get it done for $100.

can you please tell me where to get it done from, i am in DC metro area. Does it mater which state you get it done from? e.g if I am in VA can i still do it from DC?

One more question how long will it take to get the results??

I am in DC metro area and I got it through INOVA fairfax Hospital in Fairfax VA
 
First of all thanks for everyone's response, I got immunization record from my school and found a doctor too.

Can anyone confirm the address where I have to send my I693 and supplimental back. My case is in NSC, the address on the top of the letter that i got abt RFE is as follow

US Department of Homeland Security
PO Box 82521
Lincoln, NE 68501-2521


dhould i return the I693+supplimental original+ the letter that i got to this address?

The address SHOULD BE THE SAME that is on your RFE..., send the letter received and the medical forms requested. Dont forget to make a copy for your records.
 
Hi,

I sent I693 + I693 supplimental today, BIO Code 3 is already done. What should i expect to hear now. Thanks alot everyone for your help, i love this forum coz we can get step by step guidance from here and do the right thing.

I am sorry I missed your post. I just saw it today, but you have done your medical already so you don't need my doctor's info anymore. Good luck and yes, I hope you get your gc soon too!
