RFE for H1 Please Help!!

My wife Received a RFE on 11/14/01
she is trying to change her status from h4-h1.
CAn any one please tell me how long it takes after filling the RFE?

Anywhere between 3 weeks to 3 months depending upon the type of RFE and the dealing officer.

Can someone tell me how much time do i have to send rfe to ins. I got it today 11/27/01. Till when do i have to send a reply for the rfe. If i cant send it right away will the ins cancel my visa petition. What is the time frame.

Please help.

I think 12 weeks

is the standard time for replying to RFE. The RFE notice should indicate the time frame for responding.

H-1B Transfer

I applied for H-1B transfer in July. INS requested RFE in october and I sent the clarification in November. It is approved on 30-nov-01. I started working early november, so I\'ve current paystubs. From August through november I didn\'t work for any company. Will this create problem for me in future. What if I apply for H-1 transfer in december with another company?

i filed a response to RFE on Nov1st and I jsut heard that my case is approved. So it took me exact 1 month. It was filed at NSC.
