1) list 5 OR criteria and aks to prove 2
2) letters for 3 years research experience

Is this standard RFE?
USCIS did not question the job offer. Please give suggestions on how to address this:
Also criteria 5 of "original research" can be proved by independent letters? i.e. no 3 question on RFE? Should I submit just 2 where it looks strong or submit as many as I can?
Suggestions appreciated. thanks.

sorry about RFE
It looks standard RFE but yet you need good amount of input to get it straight. I sense lack of perfect presenation in the original petition led to this RFE. especially point 1 & 2.

suggestions to both eb1or & color 06....please post your qualifications....content of original peition and few exact words of RFE which will surely hep us to comments to possible replies fro your rfe.

other than your publications yes...independent letters can prove quality of original research. letters are add on for every possibel points.

Did you get this RFE from Vermont Service Center? If yes, was your application moved to Texas Service Center? Which Service Center sent you this RFE? Please share information. Thanks.
 
sorry to get on someone but this is a classic example of a post where the poster wants to have their cake and eat it too. If you want honest and thorough suggestions and comments, why not take a minute to build a signature that gives other readers some, if not all, the info about your case!
 
Guys, I believe eb1or is willing to share things (as he did before) but he isn't in a good mood. Imagine you got an RFE after 8 months' waiting in dark...
 
yeah don't be harsh nikka...gentle man is just getting ready....i can understand the pressure.....of RFE..........i would suggest don't waste time just write to as many as people to give you independent letters...we usually think that they will not give etc.....just write them........and surely 80% of them will agree

No.1) same as the OR requirements lists all 6 and asks to prove 2.
No. 2) Send letter(s) from cureent or prior employer(s) to prove 3 years of research experience
No.3) Merely being good is not enough. Send letters from experts in the field which elevates the beneficiary as outstanding in his/her field. Letters should stste what elevates the beneficiary as outstanding with international recognition.

frustrated because now i have to contact people after 8 months of filing. Why not notify sooner about this?
Sucks...Will appreciate any advice.

Don't worry just little more effort you will be there.
# 2 appear to be very straightforward.
# 3 getting letters just need push. People in research are always welcome to give letters (as my general observation). We generally presume things and hesitate....but you will be surprised when you ask them..........Its just give them basic template...i mean the required text based on USCIS requirements while requesting that will expediate the process of obtaining letters. It will their choice whether they shd use template or not.....8 months is not long time.........people have receivced RFE even after 1-2 years...cheer up and go for it!!!

it was already submitted with original petition. why they want it again? or is it just they want 2 and 3 and have simply mentioned 1?

partially true
letters should cover what these independent reviewers are thinking about those criteria(s) like awards, memerships, published materials about you and by you, work as judge. The highlight of the letter should be that they are emphsizing on you being top 1-2 % of the field.

take you employers help to request such letters.

in addition to that i am sure the way research goes...it has projected points...did you acheive as projecte din 8 months...if yes..then us ethat evidence to concrete your projections...but be careful don't cross the thin line of that being additional post submission evidence.
