Use a scanner to scan and then print a B/W clear copy of it. It comes out much better than photocopy.

Just wanted to let you know,my EAD application got approved today.I just sent clear copies of my driver licences and passport pages for identification purpose(not the color copies).I guess if it is specifically mentioned for color copies , then you may have to send it.
