RFE for dependent??

My Case got approved yesterday (RD - 8/15, EB2. Updated RUpnet). But my wife's case did not get approved. I am afraid that there might be an RFE.
Meanwhile, I am planning to quit my job next month since I have got admitted to B-School.
Can someone please tell me if I am taking a risk here?
Also, in a dependent's RFE - what are the usual documents requested?

I am at a critical juncture in taking a decision. TIll yesterday I was planning to postpone my B-School admission but now I am planning to join this year itself and I need to tell my boss soon if I am planning to quit.

Your advice in this matter is highly appreciated.

thanks

my life's advice.

nEver EvEr, quit your job.

Let them fire you.

Coming to RFE for your spouse.
1.) It could be for a lot of reasons, don't worry , wait
for the RFE then only we can or anybody can tell you what to do.

2.)Stay with the current job at least till RFE is over.

3.)B-School will not go any where, till the time you are willing to pay money they will be always luring you.

4.)Above is my opinion and you have the full reason/right to disagree with me.

5.)My sincere advice, never ever quit a paying job:
a.)when you are married *never*
b.)when economy is down *never*
so when Should I go to school:
a.)When employer is paying.

Thanks.

Appreciate your responses

Guys
Appreciate your responses. I can see your point. But I like to take risks and in this particular case, the B-School in question is Harvard so I am willing to take any major risk if needed.

I know spouse may get an RFE for medical. Are there any other rfes you guys know of? I dont want to quit my job and later if my wife's rfe requires my pay stubs, I will be in a soup.

thanks
samk,

Reasons

SamK,

Usually INS processes all releted files together (Applicant + dependent). If Applicants file is OK but spouse case has problem then Applicants case gets approved, spouse case gets RFE and he/she has to wait. However if there is any problem in main applicants file then he gets RFE and all his/her dependent applications are put on hold.

There is one scenario though sometimes INS does not link files properly. It usually happeans if you and spouse did not apply together. In that case your spouse case is somewhere in the queue.

Common reasons for dependent getting RFE is
(i) Medical form not filled properly. or some vaccinations not taken.
(ii) Birth certificate is not proper.
(iii) There is a problem in marriage certificate.
(iv) I have seen some cases where INS sent RFE to resubmit Biographical information section of i-485 (G-325A). There can be some inconsistency there such as year/date etc may not be matching.

it is very unlikely that your spouse will be asked to submit your paystubs.
