I received following RFE for my two children. My wife and I didn’t receive these RFE.

Birth Certificate: Submit a copy of your civilly registered birth certificate that reflects a timely registration and indicates both parents’ full name. Provide the foreign language document, along with an English translation.

My whole Family census registry shows following information.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Child
Name : B. E. M.
Date of Birth : March 27, 1996
National ID No. : xxxxxx-xxxxxx
Father : U. S. M.
Mother : H. E. S.
Sex : Male
(description)
Born at somewhere in my country and mother reported it on April 26, 1996.
Chief of xxx-dong sent it on April 30, 1996
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My question is as follows.

Q1. I don’t have any other information to provide.
Does any other method to provide this RFE?

Q2. Is it possible my lawyer didn’t make a copy for my children?
My lawyer says she made a copy for them.

Please share your experience.

dramin,

You can submit notarized affidavit from you and spouse along with the BC with the copy of the orignal birth certificates.

From the RFE it doesen't looks they had a speciefic issue with the previous BC. Proably theit BC are not on file and hence the RFE.

Census registry is NOT birth certificate. You need to submit true birth certificate for your children. If they don't have, submit notorized affidavits - one from you and another from your wife (for each child separately).
