RFE for an EAD. How long does it take?

I applied for an EAD about 3 months ago (under pending asylum), today i got a RFE (Request for Evidence) claiming that one of the copies of the documentation (Notice of Action) was blurry and needed to mail it to them.
Thing is, i have been here for the last 10 months without a Job, and my economical resources has come to an end.
Since this is a life or death situation for me i haven't engaged into unauthorized work because being in line with the law has been a priority for me. However im hearing that RFE usually take longer than the initial application and this scares me because i just don't have more money to pay rent and expenses as i have been doing for the last 10 months, i am quite desperate.

Any experiences on somebody "correcting" the RFE for an EAD and how long does it take?

It was last year. Don't worry, you will get it asap once you submit the documents they are requesting.
Getting an RFE means, you case is on top and being processed which is better than being stuck on initial review.
