RFE details...

Given below are the details of RFE:

1) Submit an original letter on company letterhead from your current employer stating your date of hire, duties, renumeration and prospect for continued employment.
2) Submit your earnings statements for the last three months.
3) Please submit your Federal Income Tax returns, including all schedules and Forms W-2 and/or Forms 1099, for the 2001 tax year.


I am going to respond by the end of this week. Mine is a simple case. Same employer from the beginning.

did you submit any of these with your 485 appln ?

[for taxes, obviously FY 2000, since I assume you filed in the year 2001]

for the employment letter, everything was submitted while filing I 485.

Why didn't you send the employment at first? It is required.

Date of RFE

Please post your dates including the RFE was generated. And why was the letter not included with your application, oversight perhaps by the lawyer?

My details

RD: OCT 18, 2001
ND: NOV 30, 2001,
RFE: Dec 10, 2002

received the letter yesterday. May respond it tomorow.

My layer thought it was OK without employment letter, as my employer delayed in giving the letter at that point of time.

I was just wondering , why would the INS want us to resend the document s that we filed in the first place??

In this case the Tax info ???any ideas ???

There is nothing to be surprised about as they are a bunch of assh&^*^ , there is no logic in what they do and are highly inefficient and that is the ture and valid reason

Just curious. Does your current salary matches what is stated in your labor certification? If not, is it higher or lower?

I don't think I will have a problem with the salary. It is higher than what it was mentioned in the labor certification. Also, I am working in the same project since I came to US in April' 98.
