Just got email from my lawer's office

here are the details of the RFE

It is requesting for an employment letter,
last 2 months of pay stubs and your w-2and/or Forms 1099
and tax reports for the last year

when they say tax return, does it mean 1099?

3 weeks ago, INS told congressman that I should get RFE in 2-3 weeks, still nothing happening.
 
Please submit your Federal income tax returs, including all schedules and forms W-2 and /or 1099 , for last year.

It's IRS Form 1040
 
thank you GC012002. I should say

1040 instead of 1099. however, as per Boston, it is more than that.
 
questions

I also got RFE, just got the message yesterday. I don't know what it is yet. However, just preparation, can I use a copy of tax return that I kept from last year or should I request one from IRS? Also, what is W2 form? I do not have that copy with me. Should I get a copy from my employer?
 
Can a person work on 1099 while he has his EAD. I have pay stub with 1099 with my current employer is that will be a problem to reply my RFE?

I had the same for last 6months. According to my lawyer 1099 is
OK, although W2 is better. What is important is letter from your company with offer.
