It is good day for me. My case has been approved. I was waiting to hear this news for almost 9 years after so many roller coaster ride of pain
and joy. Here is my case status:

1st H1: 11/1995
2nd H1: 11/1998
1st Labor Certification(Reg): Failed \'98 Chicago
2nd Labor Certification(Reg): PD: 7/99 at Iowa,
LC Approved: 12/2000
I140: 3/2001
I485 RD: 4/01
I485 ND: 5/01
RFE: 01/02
RFE replied: 3/02 ( birth certificates, employment verification & passport copies)
AD: 5/13/02
I was working on Ist EAD after my 6 years H1 expired.

Birth Certificates

How come there are so many RFEs for Birth certificates? Is it because no birth certificate was submitted? I had to attach an affadavit from my parents; I wonder now if that is acceptable.
