hello all,
i have a BC from my homecountry. But the main Header is in my native language that basically says the name of the town, and underneath there is in english (smaller font)... also on the side , date, registration #(its in native language too)...the whole letter is in english though. do i still need a translation? anyone please?

I had a similar problem. My certificate is an international document, but there are a couple of passages and words (e.g. header) just in German.
Even though everything important was also in English, I didn't take any risks and translated everything.
In your case, I would definitely prepare a translation for those words. Just don't know what would be the best way to do it. Either you provide a translation that includes the whole letter, or just a translation of the words that aren't in English.
In addition you can write a cover letter that explains that translation, in order to prevent any confusion.

Justnew, thanks. I hope we will get our EADs soon, too...

a_usc,
Have you receive your EAD yet? I notice that your interview is in a few days time and Good luck.

Cheeers

My husband is on an L1 which is valid for another 11 months so he did not apply for an EAD or an AP. Looking forward to the interview...

Good Luck to you too :)
