RFE and IEAD

Hi Folks,

I had received an RFE for my EAD renewal which I responded promptly. Now my question is can I apply for IEAD when an RFE was issued but responded to?

I would be apply for IEAD at Newark center.. PLease post responses as soon as possible as I know there are many out there in the same situation

Hi,

Could you please tell me how many days it took for the online status to change to "RFE response received". And did you responded in the envelope send by the INS or in Fedex. And which is your EAD service Center.

My lawyer had responded to RFE in Fedex, 3 weeks back but still the online message has not changed.

well the message changed for me in 6 days... I am not sure which envelop my lawyer used, but he did everything for me..

My service center is VSC... You should check with NSC to see if they have indeed received your rfe response..

Hey did u apply for IEAD?
 
I called up NSC and they said they still have not received my RFE Response and informed me that if we send in fedex it takes long time and if we send in their envelope which they had send with RFE it is much faster.
My lawyer said they always send the RFE in Fedex.

I plan to go for IEAD but not sure whether one will be issued with RFE.

Hope the online status changes soon so that the local INS office know that we have responded to RFE and issue a IEAD.

I just spoke to my lawyer and she confirmed that they have used the envelop that INS gave them to respond in... Looks like it does make a difference..

I talked to my lawyer, he confirmed that the envelopes are still with him and he has send by fedex.

Are you planning to go for IEAD?
