RFE and AP relation

If you get a RFE for your I-485 application, can that delay ones AP (travel document). Just wanted to know if this RFE on GC application could have an impact on Advance Parole document and could cause delays in getting your AP approved?

Supposedly it does, but in a practical sense... not knowing how long will your AP (or EAD for that matter) will take, then there is no point of knowing whether it was really delayed or not.

I got an RFE... and I also got my approved AP in 29 days :p so... I could not tell if it was delayed or what.
 
Thanks Praetorian for your quick response. If others can share their experience relating to RFE and Advance Parole that would definitely help.
