RFE & Intent to Deny ?? Help please

RFE for emplyment mailed on march 8th - wife getting intent to deny - since i am getting rfe, as she is a derivative from mine, is that why is she getting intent to deny ?

Hi Nice Guy,
  Getting RFE is one step closure to getting approval. If your wife is at any point in time out of status, she may get \'intent to deny\'. If your PD is before Jan 14, 98 your wife is well covered by section 245(i). Do not worry too much. I have seen people getting approval after 18 months out of status.

  I have few questios to you. Kindly answer them
   Questions :
      When did your RFE got generated ( date please)?
      How did you come to know your RFE is for employment? Did IIO tell you this?
      Did your company changed its name before you filed your I-485?

   I am very nervously waiting to get the RFE. My ND is 09/15/99.
 I did not receive any RFE so far and everytime I call IIO, they say it is under review and with officer.
    If you answer the above questions, I will try to get some idea what is going on with my case.
