hi all,
i am about to file AOS/marriage based.
i wanna make sure this is what i need to do..
- is it true that my petition need to fill out i 130 first and send just that form to service center..and then wait to get the immigration visa #? i was gonna send all these forms to chicago add. but just found out that 130 form need to be send first and gotta wait for visa number ......and only after getting the visa # ( even while residing in usa) ....i need to send all those form for AOS aplication.> please anyone suggest..thanks

If you are applying for family-based,

send everything (I-130, 485,765,131, etc.) to Chicago lockbox at the same time. You can search my old posts.

IF you are married to a USC, you could send all forms (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131 and others) to the chicago lock box.

IF you are married to a LPR, you can only send I-130 at this point.
