Reverification of N-400 after approval

I had posted last month about my interview at Dallas. I was told by the IO that he had not received my back ground check status and could not approve my case after the interview(After I had signed the N-400 in all the relavent places and passing the tests). He told me that he would be getting the back ground check information in a week's time and would process my case further at the time. My application has been delayed as it is due to a pending FBI Name check. Anyway, I contacted my local Senator two weeks back and received a response from his office today. This is what they heard from the INS - The case was approved on June 22nd(two days after my interview) and has been sent to Reverify. Once reverified, she will be placed on an oath ceremony.
I've not heard of such a procedure before this and am extremely confused. Does anyone have any idea what reverification after the approval process means?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

My timeline -
N-400: 9-06
FP: 10-06
Interview: 6/18/07
Approved N-400: 6/22/07.
Oath - ??/??/??

They have 120 days from interview to adjudicate the case. This is not an option for them once they have interviewd you. See my link with the adjudicator manual. So write polite letters and send a copy of your N-652 and other relevant documents as proof. Make copies of these letters for your records and send with return receipt. Wait two weeks. Write another letter. If no response after 120 days then write your congress person. If you legitimately went through interview they cannot hold up your case.

I have never heard of reverification before, whatever that means. You know that different people have different ways of describing or naming a process. I would follow Jedi.Knight advice and keep pushing the issue. Hopefully it will be fixed before it reaches 120 days, but after that you have more legal avenues open to you.
