Revalidation of H4B in USA - IS I539 Required

My H1B visa and my wifes H4B were issued in 2000, both expire in July 2003.

I changed employer in 2002 and hence got a new I797 valid until Aug 2004, I did not apply for I539 at that time.

We recently traveled to india, and came back in May. I94 date for me and my wife was given based on my new I797 until Aug 04.

I am revalidating my visa at state dept office in St. Louis, can I send my wifes passport too for revalidation. She does not have a new i-539 after july 2003, even though her i-94 issued until Aug 04.

as she has new I-94 valid till Aug,2004 you can send her passport for revalidation, no need file I-539 with BCIS it has been extended by new I-94.
