Returning to the US

I was reading in this forum a while ago .. about some members having difficult when they returned to the US using RTD ... i.e. waiting 2-3 hours in some cases.
anyone has this kind of problem with the immigration officer when comming back to the US after short or long trip recently ?

when you come back from short trips to the USA , in the airport you give your

RTD to the officer, then he will ask you to go to the inspection office, you go

there and you give them your RTD, they will ask you to wait , they will do
some check and they will ask you if you went back to your homecountry,

of course you will say no, then they will ask you where did you travel and

how long you stayed, they will ask you what kind of job you have,

the whole process will take 30 minute to one hour,it really depend if the inspection office crowded or no,

Very True
I got scared in Washington because I did not expect to be sent to this little room.
I was going to lose my conect flight but I got to a point in those 20 min where I could care less about anything really.
The immigration officer called my name, asked me what countries I had visited and let me go quick.
I did not miss my flight :)

Yes i did have this experience 5 times now.
i have been in the homeland security office room for more than 2.5 hours. every time is the same. hours and hours waiting !

2.5 hours , every time

where did you travel juniorr ?

Wow!!! I didn't no it's that terrible!
Is it better to travel w/national passport then? Is it less humilating?

Also, what do they do with I-94?

Is there a way they can deny entry for somebody w/ RTD?

Thanks.

unfortuantly , they have the right to deny your entry .. RTD is not strong document. under the new homeland security law they can deny entry.
