Returning to the US after 3 months leave

Hi! I left USA for India on FLMI leave approved by my company to help my dad with some health issues. I'm now planning on returning to the US after nearly 3 months (where I got no pay because of leave). I was originally on H1-B, and now have my EAD and Advance parole with me.

When I pass through immigration at the airport, I'm sure the officer will ask about why I was so long out of the country. Are there any issues with me telling him that I got leave without pay to look after my dad, and am now returning to work. Do I need to carry any sort of documentation from my company?

Thanks much!!

no problem

Upon return you will be called in 2ndary immigration. Do not worry, they just check your employment. Bring all necessary documents with you.

They will not ask that question. This is important only if you have green card already.

Thanks for your replies. What sort of documentation do i need to carry. I plan to carry my passport, I-485, EAD, and Advance Parole. Is there anything else I need to carry?
