Returning on Advance Parole, I-485 approved

Dear ImmigrationPortal.com members,

What happens if, having traveled on Advance Parole, one finds out at the POE that his/her AOS has been approved. What would be the ramifications of such occurrence? Would the parolee be admitted to the US?

Here is what I have read on this forum :

There shouldn't be any problem provided you had a VALID AP WHEN YOU LEFT the country

If your 485 is approved when you are outside the country, when re-entering the US you don't get the I-94 stamp instead you will be asked to go to the INS office ASAP to get your passport stamped
