Retrogression Question

Hi friends,

I have two questions -

1. The current EB3 processing date for 485's is May 2002. If the cut-off date is Jan 2002, we should see the dates advance to May 2002 whenever the next time the dates are revised (in April 2005). Would this assumption be correct?

2. What happens to AC21? Well! I changed my job after 140 approval, have not filed AC21 as yet. In the archaic world of BCIS, is there any word what happens to AC21's? This one seems to be a grey area..

some info

to your question 1 - I would say I suspect. Reason - Go and see the labor processing of different center - State and Federal. You will find there are some state which are still processing 2001 labor. So the people with 2001 approved/pending labor are still there.
Another good reason - Offlate most of the approval are for people with PD in 2001. That means there are still people with PD 2001.

Thats my view.

There is no pattern to recent 485 approvals. The PD are from 01,02 and 03.

CIS has never cleared entire cases for a year before moving to the next.
So PD of 01/2002 doesnot mean all 2001 need to be approved before PD is advanced.
