Retrogression - Priority Date Question

Current Priority date in May 2008 bulletin : 01 JAN 04

I know we can't predict this but any general ideas on when the priority date will move to June 2007. Just asking this so that I can plan my marriage date accordingly ? Approx 1-2 years ?

If you are planning to get married in the next couple of years, going by the current approval rate, you seem to be in a good shape. Your PD could become current a couple of years from now, and you ought to be able to apply for your future spouse's AOS.

If you plan to get married two years from now, and then plan on having kids 3 years after that, you will most likely get your GC at the time when you get ready to take your first child to India. :)

Kidding aside, the risk of you being approved before your wedding date two years from now is very very very low.
