Retrogression in Family and Employment Visa Numbers Expected in FY-2005

All, I found this info on our Lawyer's website.

We have received unofficial reports that the Department of State is expected to report in the October Visa Bulletin, expected out today or tomorrow, that both family and employment based cut-off dates will be retrogressing in Fiscal Year 2005. Retrogression in the third preference employment category is projected to take place as early as January. We will be issuing an update regarding the retrogression once the October Visa Bulletin is published.


Does anyone have more specific info on this? How does this affect cases already filed (Concurrent/EB2) in my case, 01/21/2004

Visa numbers are to apply for I-485. Normally the priority date is the day you start your labor. Since you have already applied for I-485, you do not have to worry.
