Retrogression impact for EB-3 filers from other countries

My I-140/I-1485 were filed concurrently in the EB-3 category. I am not from a country affected by the EB-3 retrogression. How will the retrogression impact my applications?

Do I have to wait until the retrogressed applications filed before get processed or have I, in a way, been bumped up? Would people from other countries then potentially see faster approval dates?

I-140 and 485 Concurrent filing

My employer filed my I-140 in November last week. two week safter they filed my 485. I am from India and my priority date is in 2004 April and it is in EB3 category.
My employer's legal department all of a sudden send me a mail by end of december saying that my I-140 got approved and nothing to be done as my I-485 is already filed.
They filed my 485 by mid december and saying they haven't received any receipt notice yet.
I am wondering what is going on...
Anybody knows why i am not getting any receipt notice yet?
