Retrogression:I-140 , PD portability

Hi all,

I have read that, once 140 is approved, we can change employer and maintain the same PD but redo LC/140 again.

Is there any time limit for this like 180 days from filing or 180 days after approval?

No , you can not change the job one I 140 is approved, if you do so, you have to file new LC from the start. Once LC approved you may use the old PD.

I have a couple of more questions...,

Once my second LC is approved and if I want to use my 1st LC's PD, what would happen if the previous 140 is revoked or withdrawn by employer?Can i still use that PD for second LC?

yes u should be able to still use the older PD. For exactly the same reason u should atleast have a photocopy of your approved I-140 from the previous LC.
