retrogressed no more: when will my GC be ordered

I was approved at my AOS interview last month. however, the IO informed me that he could not order my GC because the OCT 2006 visa bulletin had retrogressed past my PD. he advised me to check future bulletins and make an infopass if I saw that it became current.

the very next day after the interview the NOV 2006 bulletin was posted and stated that a visa would be available to me. I made an infopass for oct 24th and didn't yield any helpful information other than, "a supervisor has your file".

it is now the 1st day of the month when I expect my DO to release my file to have my GC made? or should I schedule another infopass to be sure that my file isn't burried in some desk?

There is some confusion. I don't think production of card has nothing to do with cutoff date. Only adjudication of AOS is affected by cut-off date.
Get I-551 stamp if they still said not to issue card.

My case is similar... did you hear anything yet? I haven't.
