Retrogation doesnot work on my case !! Approved!!!

Cases filed before Dec. 31, 2004 are not affected by retrogression

Aparantly people who filed their application before Dec. 31, 2004 are not impacted by retrogression. Somone posted this on Murthy forum.

I called the USCIS regarding my I-140/485
While I Was on the phone I asked them regarding the retrogrerssion of EB3 from India,Phill,China. They CONFIRMED that if your application has been received before Dec 31 2004 physically then YOUR CASE IS NOT SUBJECTED TO RETROGRESSION, Thats a good news,this is what my attorney was saying from the beginning, so Keep your hopes high

I am not able to belive this. How come retro did not effect. Which means, in this month's visa numbers relase, PD shall move to Nov 2002 in EB3?

Or it should be current. Unless they just ignored the PDs there is no way he could get an approval. Lets wait till next week to see how the EB3 PDs move.

Please disregard this thread title. Kishuimb belongs to the EB2 category and not EB3.
