Hello all.
I am applying for a green card for my wife (Chinese national) of 7 years. Along with form I-485 I must submit form I-864, Affidavit of Support. My problem is, I am retired and have chosen to wait until I’m 70 (1.5 more years) to collect my social security so I have no proof of income. I do however have more than enough money in the bank to hold us over. I also own my home with no mortgage which has a high value. Point is I have no debt but also no income currently.
Can you suggest how I might approach this?
