Retention of priority date from EB3 to EB2

Hi All,
I am working in company A and they filled my labor in EB3 (PD Oct 2004) and got labor and I-140 approved. I have another company B who filled my labor in EB2 (PD dec 2006) as future employment and got approved. Now I am planning to use my company A PD and filled I-140 from company B with request to retention of the priority date from the previously approved EB3 I-140.
I am planning to join company B when my priority date will be current to file I-485.

I am on my 8th year extension and got 3 year H1B extension based on GC pending. I am Indian citizen and working here since 2000.

Questions:
1) Is it possible?
2) Can I keep my company A EB3 active, in case something happen and I cannot join company B
3) Is it possible to request retention of priority date when filling I-140?

>> Yes, it is possible. The caution would be to get a good law firm, who can handle all questiond from immigration.

>> This depends on your company (A).

3) Is it possible to request retention of priority date when filling I-140?
>> As long as your first company does not revoke your approved I140, you can keep the priority date.
