Hi,
I am EB2, India with 2 approved I-140s (RIR and PERM applications). Both my PDs are current now.
I had applied for 485 based on an approved I-140 with PD of Jan 2006. In the meanwhile, my other (RIR) Labor and I-140 got approved with a PD of June 2004. My attorney had sent a letter to USCIS to request retention of PD to June 2004.
Now since my PD for both the I-140s are current, I want to follow up with USCIS to make sure that they have approved the retention to the earlier PD.
My lawyer is advising to do a follow up by filling the I-824 form. Has anyone done this before? Is the I-824 meant for this purpose? I dont see any check box which states anything to this effect?
Bella, anyone, any ideas?
