Hello Folks:

Remember, the email effort that we had 3 months ago, when we emailed all the Congressmen about the processing times in TSC. Finally, got a response from one of the congresswomen and here is the response. Unfortunately, she is talking about the processing times for DOL and not the TSC INS for which we had sent the email.

Thank you for contacting me about the processing times of the Texas
Department of Labor.

Although this state agency receives federal funds for certain workforce
development programs, its administration and policies are directed by the
government of the state of Texas. Therefore, I suggest that you contact
your local representatives regarding the unfortunate delays you have
experienced.

Additionally, if you believe that these delays are jeopardizing the
economy and efficiency of a federal program, you may wish to report your
concerns to the Office of the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of
Labor. They can be reached by contacting the U.S. Department of Labor,
Office of Inspector General, 200 Constitution Avenue, N.W., Room S-5506,
Washington, D.C. 20210. Additionally, they can be reached by telephone at
1-800-347-3756 or 202-693-6999 and by fax at 202-693-5210. Finally, if
you wish, you may e-mail them at hotline@oig.dol.gov

Again thank you for contacting me. Please feel free to contact me in the
future about issues of concern to you.

Atleast she replied. I did not receive any response
from the three senators that I send the mail to.
Now these issues will be put on the backburner after
the recent terrorist attacks.
