Resigned Holder of L1 Visa

Hello to all,

I have an L1 - B Visa valid for three years since it was issued in January 2007. I temporarily worked in the US for two months for secondment purposes in my company in the Philippines. Currently I am outside US working in Indonesia. However, I wish to visit my family in the US probably at the end of this year or early next year and planning to marry in Vegas with my girlfriend who is also in Indonesia. Can I go to the US using my L1 visa even if I am already resigned in my previous employer or do I need to re apply for a tourist Visa or B1 visa. Thanks and hoping for your feedback.

You need a new visa that matches your purpose of entry into the U.S. Your L-1 visa, though appears valid, has actually become invalid in effect since the underlying employment ceased.
