Hi guys,
I am a H1B visa holder. The visa expires in Feb 2008. I have just been granted residency in the UK and am intending to move over permanently.
Since there is no notice period, I am intending to resign by just faxing my resignation letter to my company. My question is, what do I do with the H1B visa?
Do I simply just fax my resignation letter and leave the country? Do I have to call INS to inform them?? or is that the responsibility of my company? Since its quite a small company, i dont think they know what to do as well.
I still have many friends here, and would like to come back from time to time to visit them, so i dont want to run into any problems at immigration.
Thanks to anyone who can help. very much appreciated!!!
