resident's immigration status

Hi all,

Im currently on a H1 with a stable IT company and have concurrently filed for my(and my wife's) I-140/I-485. My wife would be applying for her residency for 2005 shortly.I expect to get our EADs(although not my I-140) approved before my wife takes up employment next year.What status would she be on? Would she require sponsorship?
