Residency in Canada

I'm a PR holder for the last 2.5 years. However, I'm living in the US and I did not apply for a social security card in Canada. I've only been in Canada for 4 days and I have never filed any taxes at all in Canada.
I just wanted to know if I have violated any rules. FYI, I do not have plans of applying for citizenship.
Gurus, please let me know.

Nope, you are good for another 7 months and then if you still want to maintain your PR , you got to move to canada
