Hi folks, my citizenship interview is scheduled on October 14th 2009 in Newark, New Jersey. I own a house in NJ which is my permanent address for all purposes. However, due to job relocation, I have "moved" to Chicago. I live in a hotel in Chicago and fly back every weekend to spend time with the rest of my family back in NJ. At the time of filing N-400, I was still living in NJ and had been at that residence for the past 3 years. In other words, what I mentioned on the form was accurate at that time. As far as my employer is concerned, they made me report my Chicago address for HR for W2 (for income tax returns to be filed next year). Do I need to reveal to the IO about my job relocation when he/she goes over the employment section? And if I do so, would it automatically trigger a follow-up question about not reporting my Chicago residential address? But if I do report both, wouldn't that result in transfer of my case file to Chicago and the entire thing being delayed?
