Residence address changed after I-485 applied

All,

I have moved from VSC to CSC after I filed I485. After 2 months I asked my lawyer to change the address. They sent a request and INS updated my address. After that I got EAD to my current address. Is my application is transfered to CSC or still with VSC. Please advise.

VSC still, stamping local INS office

Case remains with VSC, only stamping (if FP not done, that too), will be at urlocal INS office.

So far I did not get FP. It may take another 2 weeks. So do I need to go back to Virginia for FP. Please advise.

Since you have updated your address, your FP will be scheduled by VSC at a local INS in CSC area. Don\'t worry. You will not have to go to Virginia for FP. Same thing will happen after the 485 approval. You will have to go to local INS in California for passport stamping but you will get the plastic cards from VSC.
