reseting H1B 6yr clock

Hi Gurus, I have a question about how to reset the H1B 6yr clock.

If I leave the States for 6 monthes, come back to the States for a brief visit, say, 10 days, and go out of the country for another 6 monthes and 1 day, will my H1B clock be reset?

I too have the same question...does visiting US for a short stay (2-3 weeks) extends the clock to be reset till further one year, or does it get reset after 1 year of leaving US from H1 status??

Well, itdoes n't matter, one day or one month no matter what type of visa, if you step in to US before accrual of 365 days, out-of-us clock again resets to zero.

You will have to start over, and try to accrue 365 out-of-US from the day you leave US.
